In 1978, James and Deborah Hannigan launched J & J Distributing with 300 square feet and four employees in St. Paul, MN. The family legacy of service to its customers, appreciation to its employees, and passion for quality fruits and vegetables continues to be the foundation of the company.

J&J Distributing is an active corporate citizen and long-time contributor to important causes such as hunger relief, health and hospice care, and animal rescue.
J&J has always taken the extra step in bringing safe quality foods to our customers’ shelves (and tables) and we continue to maintain the highly esteemed SQF (Safe Quality Foods) Level 2000 Certification.
Our operations are housed in an 110,000-square foot facility with over 90,000-square feet of cold storage that includes 21 coolers with various temperatures and a cutting facility. The facilities include 14 dock doors for trucks. We provide packaging and labeling solutions including private labels and co-packing.
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
J&J has an excellent network of transportation assets that get our product to our facility quickly, safely and with our cold chain intact ensuring the produce is transported at the correct storage temperatures and you get the freshest product possible upon delivery.
